KUWAIT, June 2 – The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil jumped $ 5.63 to $ 33.01 in trading yesterday, compared to $ 27.38 in trading last Friday, according to the price announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
In global markets, Brent crude contracts ended the trading session yesterday, up 48 cents, or 1.3 percent, to settle at settlement of $ 38.32 a barrel, while American crude contracts fell 5 cents, or 0.1 percent, to reach settlement at $ 35.44 a barrel
