The Arabic local news paper Alrai reported that Kuwait Municipality has announced that the Cemeteries will be opened for the public during the second stage from 5:30 until 8:30 am starting Tuesday.

In this context, the Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Mr. Ahmed Al-Manfuhi, stressed the necessity to adhere to health requirements, to wear masks and gloves, and to adhere to social spacing during visiting graves, stressing that the visit should be limited to half an hour.

Al-Manfuhi pointed out that the preventive measures taken by the municipality to compel visitors to the Cemeteries and families of the deceased and the mourners to wear gloves and masks and apply the requirements of social separation and tightening them to the workers in the Cemeteries by observing the procedures and measures, comes from its concern for the health and safety of all as well as its support for all the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the state to combat Corona virus emerging and observing safety requirements and the Ministry of Health instructions issued in this regard to prevent the spread of the virus.
