Although the Council of Ministers announced the operation of commercial flights at Kuwait airport, starting and returning from August 1, by 30%, the mechanism for the return of residents to Kuwait has not been clarified yet.
An official source told that the mechanisms for the return of residents require coordination with the Ministry of Health to know the preventive conditions required upon their return, and the approved examination methods for their reception, despite the requirement to bring a PCR certificate proving that they are free from Corona prior to their arrival in the country.
With regard to determining the number of residents coming daily, the source said that the matter is still unresolved. According to the source, the Civil Aviation Department of Civil Aviation yesterday addressed 42 local and international airlines to submit requests to operate its commercial flights, including the flight details, the number of passengers and the crew of the plane, explaining that this step aims to determine the number of flights during August and give official approvals to them according to the civil aviation plan.
The source stated that it is not currently possible to book travel dates for the month of August by travel agencies, except after the issuance of the necessary approvals for the conduct of flights by airline
