The Arabic local newspaper Alrai reported that The Ministry of Health in Kuwait announced today, Saturday, that it signed a cooperation agreement in the field of health with the Ministry of Health in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to combat the outbreak of the Corona virus emerging (Covid-19).


The director of the Department of International Health Relations at the Ministry, Dr. Rehab Al-Watyan, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the field of cooperation is to send expert medical teams from doctors, nurses and technicians with previous experience in dealing with disasters and epidemics so that they are distributed to all health facilities in Kuwait to combat (Kovid- 19).


Al-Watyan mentioned that this falls within the scope and framework of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries, noting that the agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Undersecretary Dr. Mustafa Reda, and on the Pakistani side, Ambassador Syed Sajjad Haider.
