The Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah held a meeting today with officials of the General Administration of Civil Aviation to follow up the plan to restart commercial flights at Kuwait International Airport as of early August.

The decision of the Supreme Committee to restart commercial trips, Saad Al-Otaibi, told KUNA that the meeting discussed the final stages of implementing health procedures and requirements that must be followed to implement the Cabinet’s decision in this regard.

He added that the “Supreme Committee”, headed by the head of the General Administration of Civil Aviation Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud, reviewed the guidelines for starting commercial operation in the light of the Corona pandemic “Covid 19”.

He explained that the committee made a visual presentation to the Minister of Health, which included the preparations that were made during the past days in the buildings of Kuwait International Airport.
