The Head of the General Administration of Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah today, Saturday, made an inspection tour to follow up the work progress on the first day of the plan to restart commercial flights at Kuwait International Airport.

Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud said in a press statement on the sidelines of the tour that the launch of the first day of the first phase of the plan to resume commercial flights succeeded in solidarity and cooperation of all governmental and non-governmental agencies working in Kuwait International Airport.

He added that the Supreme Committee to restart commercial flights at the airport took all necessary measures to implement the approved plan for the resumption of operation in accordance with the health requirements required based on the decision of the Council of Ministers on June 29 to gradually return to commercial operation.

He praised the great efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health during this appeal phase, which had a pivotal and clear role to face the new Corona pandemic in various fields and sectors, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Health crews at Kuwait International Airport.

He called on all travelers and workers in the airport buildings to comply with the health regulations and guidelines issued by either the Ministry of Health or the General Administration of Civil Aviation.
