KUWAIT, Aug 8 (KUNA) – The General Administration of Civil Aviation announced today, Saturday, that it will operate a weekly flight to both Frankfurt airport in Germany and Kabul airport in Afghanistan, with the aim of enhancing the gradual operation of direct aviation between these two countries.
The Director of the Air Transport Department in the (Civil Aviation) Abdullah Al-Rajhi said in a press statement that the German airline (Lufthansa) will return to operate from Frankfurt Airport to Kuwait International Airport by one flight per week in accordance with the requirements set by the German authorities for entry or transit.


Al-Rajhi added that the Afghan aviation company will also operate between the two countries at the rate of one flight per week from Kabul Airport to Kuwait International Airport, in order to cover the demand of the Afghan community wishing to travel, in accordance with health requirements.
