Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Kan” campaign, Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh, announced the resumption of its annual training program after the return of normal life by holding the first training course for primary care physicians in cooperation with the Primary Care Department at the Ministry of Health.

Al-Saleh explained, in a press statement today, Saturday, that it comes within four courses that will be implemented during the coming period for primary care physicians, pointing out that the Kan campaign training center has taken all precautionary measures, which it started by reducing the number of participants from doctors and applying the spacing and sterilization system in order to preserve Safety of everyone.

He added that the campaign cooperated with a number of experts to present the scientific program, which included how to early detection of early signs of head, neck, lung, breast, colon, prostate, uterine and kidney cancer, in addition to the relationship of the hormone to cancer diseases.

He pointed out that a questionnaire was distributed to the participating doctors to find out their opinions and suggestions about the courses that achieve the goal that the campaign seeks to train doctors to recognize the initial signs of tumors, which provides the long time from the onset of symptoms to the diagnosis and thus achieves an increase in the cure rates. Al-Saleh explained that “Kan” trained 1022 primary care doctors from 2012 until the end of November last year, and this scientific activity received 4 points from the continuing medical education system from the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization
