The Indian Embassy in Kuwait advises all Indian nationals to submit their applications for fresh passports well in advance to avoid any delay in obtaining new passports.

“Embassy endeavors to issue new passports at the earliest without any delay. However, certain category of passports require mandatory Police verification necessitating additional processing time including correspondence with local authorities in India”, embassy said in a press statement.

The statement advises all to apply for fresh passports two months prior to expiry of validity of their residency in Kuwait or intended date of travel.
