The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, following up on the health system in the country developments and indicators of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic locally and internationally, pointing to the resurgence of the virus in many countries of the world in record numbers that exceeded what was recorded in its early appearance.

Al-Sanad told KUNA yesterday that the ministry is represented in the public health sector, continuously updating the available health procedures and options, based on developments in the spread of the virus in the country, the number of infections, and the occupancy rate of intensive care rooms.

And he indicated that what is being circulated in the media about the return of the partial ban in the country is an option in the event of a positive increase in the number of injuries – God forbid – as is happening now in many countries around the world on the European and American continent, and the ministry is represented by the technical team and specialists in public health Epidemiology presents a periodic report to the Council of Ministers, including some scenarios and proposals in the event of a positive increase in the number of infections.

He stressed the need to adhere to the health requirements and recommendations issued by the Ministry, calling on all citizens and residents to take these recommendations seriously, in order to preserve their health and the health of their families and the health system in the country.
